Quantitative Modeling of Pollinator PopulationsThe Department of Environmental Science, Policy, & Management at the University of California-Berkeley seeks a quantitative population or community ecologist for a two to four year post-doctoral position to work on how native plant hedgerows in intensive agricultural regions may influence the occupancy dynamics, community assembly and functional properties of pollinator communities. The post-doctoral associate will analyze existing datasets (4+ years of data over 20 sites), select new sites to expand the project, supervise the field team, and assist as needed in collection of field data on pollinator communities and habitat attributes. Closing date for receipt of completed applications is October 7 2011.
