Insect diversity, pollination success and the functional heterogeneity of agricultural landscapes Heterogeneity of agricultural landscapes can greatly influence biodiversity and associated ecosystem services, but the relative contribution of crop composition and crop configuration is little understood. Responses of plant-insect richness and ecological functions such as crop pollination to gradients in landscape heterogeneity will be analyzed in landscapes around the city of Göttingen, but also in other European countries (France, Spain, UK, also Canada) within a large Biodiversa project called FarmLand.Closing date for application: August 19, 2012.
