The 2nd Edition Greater Megong Subregion Atlas is now available 28.01.2013

The second edition of the GMS Atlas, now available for download on the EOC website, offers a unique overview of the exquisite beauty and diversity of the Greater Mekong Subregion’s natural environment. Its 23 chapters contain thematic and geographic overviews, stunning photography and the latest maps and data. The atlas provides an introduction to the GMS for those new to the subregion. It also highlights the tremendous progress made by the GMS countries, as well as the need to address the increasing risks that they face.  A collaborative effort between Asian development Bank (ADB) and the GMS Environment Operations Center (EOC), the Atlas was funded by the Core Environment Program and Biodiversity Conservation Corridors Initiative. It was produced for this year’s celebration of the GMS Economic Cooperation Program’s 20th Anniversary and was launched on 12 December at the 18th GMS Ministerial meeting.
